Some news about Endless War 4

Well, there're only a few improvements:
- Some new guns
- Opportunity to command your allies separately. Aliies run and aim faster than normal enemies.
- Opportunity to lie down and avoid enemy fire (Doesn't make you invincible, but bullets miss by a chance of 50%). You can't move while liying
- Only 12 missions, but each mission is a set of 3 maps, 36 maps total.
- Tha campaigns are: Italy invasion during WW2 (British commandos vs. Italian forces), Some kind of future wars (Commandos vs. rebels with lasers, miniguns and etc.) and Winter War 1939 (USSR vs. Finland)

And the biggest question: WHEN? Should be soon, most of work is done, testing the game.

No, not this time. I've changed game engine a bit. And the opportunity to lie down could require to redraw all old solders' sprites if I'd put ew 1-3 missions into the fourth - that's a ton of (almost) useless work (>.<)

I'm still gonna recomend a custom map mode. Maybe some stealth missions just to add more purpose then just slaughter everyone in the map. I'd do that anyway. Even if they were on my side.

Well, I'd be somewhat more happy with some WW I missions and some missions in the modern times, but I welcome these campagns too.
That lie down feature sounds good. And if you draw lieing soldiers anyway, the death animation should be that too with some blood. That would look better than a totally torn apart body.

Okay, so instead of a custom map mode, maybe destructible terrain and\or (it may be a little difficult for both) the removal of the eyes in the back of enemies heads?

nice, and hey what about if there is any in EW5 if there is one, maybe flight missions that uses the battleflight engine, but just better, lol. and you should have conditions like hemorhaging and shellshock, it would make it more realistic. one more thing is that how about in some missions animals pop out of nowere and attack you for more realism!

If it's not too late, I've got a suggestion: semiauto weapons should have either the same fire rate (of about 3-4/s) or be true semiauto (one click one shot). It would be a bit more realistic.
The bolt-action rifles can have different fire rates, becouse it can take different times to operate the bolt.

And you mentioned that you plan to have lasers too. I'm curious about how big you are going to make the kickback there. I think it should be very low, becouse light don't really kicks.

It's too late for such changes =(

Their fire rates are different, but the differense is rather low.

It's zero = no kickbak, shots in a straight line through all enemies (likie gauss), 'firerate' is 30 shots/sec, low damage.

Each campaign includes 2 per each side of conflict, so there're two missions for Finland. Events are not very accurate, but close enough.
No, characters don't talk =\ They engage battle and die too fast, so they just have no time for it =)
